Indonesia Java International Destination – Jakarta – Pulau Seribu


Pulau Seribu , situated in the Jakarta region of Java Island is one of the Indonesia Java International Destination. Pulau Seribu is also known as Thousand Island and it remains as a favorite destination of many tourists for several ages. Pulau Seribu, an Indonesia Java International Destination, mainly consists of four islands namely Kahyangan (earlier known as Cipir), Onrust, Bidadari (referred earlier as Sakit) and Kelor which offer a splendid view of the sea and the forest surrounding it. Throughout the region of Jakarta these islands appear as dots and there are nearly 120 tropical islands and coral atolls collectively referred as Thousand Islands. These islands are preferred by many tourists who want to stay away from the hustle bustle of the urban life. In these islands there are golden beaches which are flanked by swaying coconut palm trees. The waters in the surroundings of the islands are considered as heaven for skin divers and these are a home for several kinds of tropical fishes and colorful corals. Tourists can reach this place by taking a chartered boat or ferry ride from the region of Pasar Ikan or Tanjung Priok. Some of the islands which are tourist friendly are Pulau Putri, Pular Anyer, Pulau Laki and Pulau Bidadari.
